Born in Blackwatertown, a small village separating Counties Armagh and Tyrone in the province of Ulster, Ireland, my Childhood was as normal, playful and happy as any young boy could wish for.
At the age of 9, I unfortunately experienced serious physical health issues, which resulted in me spending a considerable portion of the following 2 years hospitalized.
The result of this was unsurprisingly trauma, and a 3 month stay in a children's mental institution.
My life since has been a sub-conscious journey of self-exploration and education into what makes people do what they do, and why some of us appear to be more content than others.
Somewhere along the way, I made a conscious decision to turn my past and all of it's adversity, into my POWER.
I am blessed in respect to the fact that I have been able to call my passion my vocation for the past four years. Assisting individuals in overcoming their mental barriers to progression and contentment is a true passion and labor of love.
Sonas Mental Wellness is much more than just me though, it's you, it's my family and friends, and everyone else supporting this wonderful movement for Mental Health.
